Before and After - Stairwell

Here is another location within the same church as the candles from a couple of posts ago. This is the oldest church in San Miguel, Mexico. I am not sure where these stairs lead. I loved the mystery that these stairs represented to me.

I brought out some of the mystery I felt when I saw these stairs with some work in PS, and then I added a word to the bottom step. A word so freely given from God through Christ, but we have to take the first step to receive it. God doesn't push us up any stairs, he is the Gentleman waiting to bless us once we lift our foot to take the first step.
