Officer Mike - He's the best!

This guy! He is about to retire from the police force, he has served our country overseas, he has served the homeless on our streets of Abilene with his beautiful wife. He and Phyllis have raised great kids and are wonderful grandparents....all that and he is a hippie and a Grateful Dead fan.  Mike, I am so grateful for the service you have given our country and our wonderful town of Abilene. Phyllis, I am grateful for all of the sacrifices you have made as a military and police wife...not to mention grateful for you teaching 2nd graders, including my own, through the years. My life is richer because of these two. Thank you!! Our streets, our people, our lives are better because of your contribution!
