Kayla and Daz Wedding Day

Kayla and Daz are a wonderful couple. He lives in England and she in Virginia, they met at a conference for work. Kayla was speaking and Daz attending. Both of their flights were cancelled when it was time to go home, so they had a day where they spent a little time together, and the rest is history. The recessional song was the theme from 007, and it fit their lines of work perfectly. Enjoy a sampling of their images below, due to the holiday this week I will have their slideshow up after the New Year. I always have several favorites that speak novels about what is going on in the heart and one of my favorites is below. Kayla's mom is helping her on with the veil, but what is amazing about this image is Kayla's expression under the veil. She is about to walk down the aisle to see her prince for the very first time and you can see the peace and joy on her face. The couple chose to do the First Glance and have all the pics before the wedding which always makes for amazing emotion. There is something so special about Christmas weddings, the lights and decorations are part of that, but there is something more as this time of year is full of so much meaning and remembrance of Jesus birth, add to that the holy union between a man and woman and it sings of a real life fairy tale wedding. Kayla and Daz, I was so blessed to be a part of your day. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was when Daz was giving a toast during the reception. His toast was the most eloquent and thought out toast I had ever heard. He thanked both moms with such heart felt emotion and had everyone raise their glasses in their honor, then he told a couple of great stories, then he told the story of how he and his bride met, then he toasted his bride. He again spoke the commitment of matrimony in words that were his own. I am crying again just thinking about it. It was truly a magical night.
